Dick Hannah, Family Owned Since 1949

This last year Dick Hannah Dealerships shared it’s 60th birthday with the community here in the Vancouver/Portlandarea. What an achievement! This got me thinking about how things have changed since 1949 and 2010!

In 1949;

The cost of a first-class stamp: $0.03

The first Emmy Awards were handed out

The cost of gas: $0.17/Gal.

Average cost of a new car: $1,420

Average wages per year: $2,950

Cost of Milk: $0.84/Gal

Cost of Bread: $0.14/Loaf

The first Polaroid camera sold for $89.95

It is astounding to see how much has changed since then! It is also amazing to think that through all of this time Dick Hannah Dealerships has been here for all of these changes!
